Mr. Stone is a distinguished operating executive
with almost 30 years of experience starting, building and selling
successful marketing services companies. He has extensive experience
in direct marketing, advertising, data aggregation, promotions,
telecommunications and production, and his work and creativity have
been recognized by both the American Marketing Association and the
International Film Society. Mr. Stone is currently a Managing
Director of Trivergance.
Prior to joining Trivergance, Mr. Stone worked
with Marc Byron at Paradigm Direct and Mosaic Group. At Paradigm
Direct, Mr. Stone was the CIO and Internet Division President,
creating one of the most successful on-line direct marketers of
consumer subscription services. He also was simultaneously in charge
of the design and implementation of the entire IT infrastructure,
including all fulfillment and sales tracking of over 60 million
customer records a year. At Mosaic Group, Mr. Stone was tapped to go
to the United Kingdom to roll-up 5 separate marketing entities with
revenue of over £60 million into a single operating unit with over
1,200 employees.
Prior to that, Mr. Stone had successfully built
and sold his own advertising agency, an artist management firm and a
marketing and management-consulting firm. SFS Advertising was grown
rapidly to one of the top 10 New Jersey Advertising Agencies, with
$60,000,000 in billing for a diverse array of national advertising
clients. Downey Stone, his artist management company, managed and
developed Morton Downey Jr. and the Morton Downey Jr. Show. A Better
Life, Inc., focused on marketing programs with many entertainers in
Branson, Missouri, including Tony Orlando, Wayne Newton and Yakov
Smirnoff, as well as several prominent Branson businesses. Jerry
serves on the board of a Midwest restaurant chain and is the founder
of the Nutrition Superfund, a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization,
established to amass funds for marketing a “healthy eating” message
to the youth of America – and combat the American obesity epidemic.
Mr. Stone was born in 1958 and is a member of the
Director’s Guild of America and a graduate of The Program on
Negotiation at Harvard Law School, a world-renowned
interdisciplinary center on negotiation and conflict resolution.
